MCLvale offers solutions in wastewater treatment for various industries, focusing on innovation and technology to improve the efficiency and sustainability of processes.

Aeration

Responsible for incorporating oxygen into liquid effluents, aeration promotes the oxidation of organic load by aerobic microorganisms, while also providing mixing and controlling odors.
Aeration systems come in different configurations to meet the various treatment technologies available.

Bar Screens

Used in the preliminary stage of industrial or sanitary wastewater treatment, bar screen systems remove coarse solids, protecting downstream equipment and treatment processes.

Biological Treatment

Consists of using microorganisms to degrade organic matter in sewage and wastewater. These systems can be divided into aerobic and anaerobic, each with distinct advantages and applications:
• Aerobic systems are highly efficient in nutrient removal, offer a faster and less sensitive process, and allow for less stringent process conditions.
• Anaerobic systems are characterized by efficient organic matter removal, lower sludge production, lower energy requirements, and the potential to generate biogas, which in some cases can be used for energy production.

Clarification (Settling)

Clarification systems are applied at various treatment stages to promote the separation of suspended solids through sedimentation.
They can be used together, either preceding or following biological reactors, or individually — physically or with the addition of chemical products.

Flotation

Dissolved air flotation systems are used to separate solid and oily particles present in wastewater. Flotation units can be applied:
(a) in primary treatment stages, mainly to reduce BOD, COD, oils, grease, and suspended solids;
(b) in secondary systems for biological sludge separation; or
(c) as final treatment, removing remaining or specific pollutants. MCLvale offers flotation systems in skid-mounted or standalone (conventional flotation unit) formats.

Microbubble Generation

Essential to dissolved air flotation (DAF) systems, the microbubble generation system delivers a constant and uniform supply of the microbubbles required for the flotation process.

Mixing

Mixing systems are applied in tanks or ponds to promote wastewater equalization and/or prevent the settling of suspended solids in the liquid.
MCLvale offers a variety of mixer types to meet the most diverse tank configurations and applications.

Polymer Preparation

Devices designed to process powdered polymers, enabling emulsion preparation at different desired concentrations.

Preliminary Treatment

This removal stage aims to eliminate or reduce adverse effects on the operation of downstream components, prevent abrasion in equipment and piping, reduce clogging in WWTP units, and facilitate the handling and transport of liquid and solid phases throughout the plant’s units.

Screening

Responsible for removing coarse solids present in raw wastewater, MCLvale screens are supplied in different configurations and filtration levels, according to each customer’s needs.

Sludge Treatment

Water and wastewater treatment removes contaminants from the liquid medium through physical, chemical, and/or biological processes, generating a liquid residue containing suspended particles, known as “sludge.”
To reduce the volume of sludge sent to final disposal, MCLvale offers different equipment configurations and technologies for thickening and dewatering.
