Diffused air is introduced into the liquid through stainless steel or EPDM diffusers. Air is supplied by blowers/compressors installed outside the aeration tank/lagoon and reaches the diffusers through branched piping responsible for proportional distribution across the bottom of the tank or lagoon, ensuring optimal mixing and oxygen transfer. Diffused air systems can be supplied in fixed or removable configurations.
When installed as removable grids, it allows greater flexibility for installation or removal during maintenance, without the need to empty the lagoon or tank; when installed in a fixed configuration, it allows greater cost savings and excellent distribution.
